Grant Matching Report

If you have general funding needs, but no specific grant in mind, then Wordvisor will research and prepare a report with five prioritized grant opportunities that are well-matched to your organization’s profile and projects. The report will provide descriptions of the grants, primary requirements, and notes concerning the nature of the match.  Additional grants may be listed with contact information. This is an excellent way to have a set of grant opportunities that your organization can target.

Grant Development Research

Writing a successful grant requires that the grant writer know and understand your organization. The grant development process will involve all of the following:

  • Conducting interviews and–if appropriate–carrying out a site visit to understand the vision and mission of your organization, as well as grasp the concept for particular projects or programs.
  • Reviewing relevant organizational documents, files, and other materials that may provide organizational background or project information.
  • Participating in meetings and communications regarding the projects or programs for which the grant is intended, and maintaining an ongoing knowledge of the organization throughout the grant process.

Grant Writing

Grant writing rates cover both the initial preparation of the grant application, as well as any follow-up reports or paperwork that the organization requests the grant writer to prepare, as part of satisfying the grant’s requirements if successful.

  • Compiling, writing, and editing the grant application, and any additional exhibits or appendix materials, as needed.
  • Reviewing, editing, and structuring the budget materials provided by the organization, and making recommendations if items appear problematic or inappropriately estimated.
  • Following the guidelines required for submission by each grant-making organization (including length, formatting, pagination, fonts, appendices, copying and mailing requirements).

When a grant is funded, the following activities may also be included, at client’s request:

  • Assisting the organization with setting up any data collection required for follow-up reports.
  • Writing and submitting follow-up reports
